Couples Counseling is a relationship laboratory where we actively “try on” and explore alternatives to the ways communication and connection is already taking place between you, creating the improved, authentic and dynamic relationship experience you are longing for.

As a mindfulness practitioner for many years, I want to support you in paying attention to yourselves as individuals in separate bodies as well as a part of a couple. I’ve lived in major cities all my life and as a result have worked with people from cultures all over the globe. I also have experience with relationships and trauma, especially with life-changing diagnoses.

My style as a therapist is warm yet focused. I want to hear what you have to say, but I also want you to attain your goals. I will interrupt non-helpful patterns in service of taking an honest look at what is happening between you. In the first session, we get a clear idea as to what is getting in the way of your connection and begin to understand who is responsible for what, not for the sake of blaming, but for noting your dynamic in order to create change.”
