Sometimes a S.O. might think they don’t want to start couples therapy because it will be one sided or the therapist might take sides, but that is not the case with Alex. He’s fair and listens to both sides very intently and always looks for common ground. We’ve had a lot of “I never thought about it like that” moments. Alex is excellent at speaking with male partners who may be reluctant to start therapy. He’s able to speak to men in a way that gets them to see past what some men consider nagging, to actually see and LISTEN to what their partner is trying to convey.
